They are both wrong and very distracting, right? Well they both happened to me (not me, but around me).
April 18, 2006 at 9:45pm (coming from work in Lewisville)
I merged on to the highway following a Ford Explorer making a lot of smoke from the car. I thought it might have been the road because of all the construction work going on. Well, it was the road, the driver was tearing up the road from driving on nothing but hubcaps. What an idiot! Sparks came flying and no one would pass this guy because of the concern that the car would swerve into him. I, along with many others, were honking and flashing our lights at him, but no action but driving continuance. Finally, I called 9-1-1 and spoke to a woman who told me others had already called the concern in. I followed the car as it exited the highway to make sure he got to safety and right before he exited he swerved all the way across the highway, his mid hubcap came rolling my way and I ran over it at 40mph. There were other cars behind me that wanted to know what the hell was going on, too. So four cop cars came from all directions to stop this guy on the access road into Lake Dallas. The cops actually had to park their cars in front of him because he wouldnt stop. So as fast as the cop stopped the car and got out of the car, he got back in the car and started his car. Not but about 10 feet ahead, the car was stopped, Guns were pointed at him and he was finally taken to the ground. All of the perspective/witness cars were still collected behind all the flashing lights. So the guy in front of me go out of his car and came toward me, so I rolled won my window. He was taking out a cigarette from his pack to smoke. I asked him if he knew the guy, he said, no, but how crazy it was. He said, so did you see the hubcap fall off. I said, yeah, I ran over it! He said, that was you? Anyway, I had my fun, so I fled for Denton (back to the norm). The end of wrong #1

So I walked into class (a big stadium seating lecture hall that can seat up to about 500 people) and I chose a seat near the middle of the classroom behind an empty chair so I could prop my feet up. Now just like (I hope) everybody in that class, I have every intention of learning in a classroom setting. So I sat and just as soon as the professor started speaking, so did the two girls to the left and behind me and the two guys to the right and behind me. So without saying anything, I looked at both of them, packed my books together in my backpack, and moved closer to the front. I found another rseat with an empty seat in front for my feet to be propped. As soon as I retook my books out, the two girls behind me and to the right began to talk. How am I supposed to learn if three people are talking? The professor, one of the girls, and my brain saying SHUT THE HELL UP!!! |
