Driving on Hubcaps and Talking in Class

They are both wrong and very distracting, right? Well they both happened to me (not me, but around me).

April 18, 2006 at 9:45pm (coming from work in Lewisville)

I merged on to the highway following a Ford Explorer making a lot of smoke from the car. I thought it might have been the road because of all the construction work going on. Well, it was the road, the driver was tearing up the road from driving on nothing but hubcaps. What an idiot! Sparks came flying and no one would pass this guy because of the concern that the car would swerve into him. I, along with many others, were honking and flashing our lights at him, but no action but driving continuance. Finally, I called 9-1-1 and spoke to a woman who told me others had already called the concern in. I followed the car as it exited the highway to make sure he got to safety and right before he exited he swerved all the way across the highway, his mid hubcap came rolling my way and I ran over it at 40mph. There were other cars behind me that wanted to know what the hell was going on, too. So four cop cars came from all directions to stop this guy on the access road into Lake Dallas. The cops actually had to park their cars in front of him because he wouldnt stop. So as fast as the cop stopped the car and got out of the car, he got back in the car and started his car. Not but about 10 feet ahead, the car was stopped, Guns were pointed at him and he was finally taken to the ground. All of the perspective/witness cars were still collected behind all the flashing lights. So the guy in front of me go out of his car and came toward me, so I rolled won my window. He was taking out a cigarette from his pack to smoke. I asked him if he knew the guy, he said, no, but how crazy it was. He said, so did you see the hubcap fall off. I said, yeah, I ran over it! He said, that was you? Anyway, I had my fun, so I fled for Denton (back to the norm). The end of wrong #1

April 19, 2006 at 1:10pm

So I walked into class (a big stadium seating lecture hall that can seat up to about 500 people) and I chose a seat near the middle of the classroom behind an empty chair so I could prop my feet up. Now just like (I hope) everybody in that class, I have every intention of learning in a classroom setting. So I sat and just as soon as the professor started speaking, so did the two girls to the left and behind me and the two guys to the right and behind me. So without saying anything, I looked at both of them, packed my books together in my backpack, and moved closer to the front. I found another rseat with an empty seat in front for my feet to be propped. As soon as I retook my books out, the two girls behind me and to the right began to talk. How am I supposed to learn if three people are talking? The professor, one of the girls, and my brain saying SHUT THE HELL UP!!!

I'M COMING TO ABILENE!!!

Don't worry guys, I'll be there as fast as I can drive on a 70m.p.h. highway without getting stopped by a state trooper!

See y'all this weekend!

drugs, trans-gender, and buttery nipples

alright guys. here's a blog to read...

this week i've had a lot of time to think and do some soul searching and some pretty fun and interesting things have happened...

So yesterday I get this phone call from my ex-boyfriend, John and he asks if I know anyone that would like to buy weed from him. I don't do pot, nor will I ever...again (that's another story and it was on accident) but I didn't really appreciate the fact that he calls me just to see if anyone would like to make a good deal with him. I mean, I spent a good part of 4 months with him...be reasonable man! The bad thing is is that he's been on probation for the passed year and a half and will soon be off by then end of April and he's dealing drugs. What an idiot! So that's the least of my strangeness. Next my roommate comes home and tells me about a mutual friend who has been a lesbian for a better part of her whole life and she has just recently decided to have a trans-gender operation. Now we strongly disagree with these decisions because her whole life she has vowed to be a woman who likes other women and not a man. But for the passed few years she has cut her hair very short, lossed a whole lot of weight, changed her wardrobe to strictly men's apparel and has changed her name to James. But she actually wants this operation now. So she won't be the person I knew her as back when I went to church with her years ago...no...a woman turned man. I've only ever heard of people doing this on television shows, but never have I known someone who was going through this... wow!

And for the good part of my soul searching. I kind of went through this strange passed four days where I thought that I seriously didn't have any friends or I just didn't know anyone but Kris in Denton. After work and school every night I've been doing some studying that I don't normally do and then going to bed early. My sister, Andrea, invited me to go dancing with her and some friend the other night and I didn't go so I could study and because I was a little tired. But last night I decided to call my friend Jessi and she invited me out to a bar with some friends of ours. So we did some drinking (buttery nipples) and thought about doing Karaoke, but was a little late. I was sad that Lewisville closes at midnight. I am used to living in Denton where everything closes at 2am here because we are mostly COLLEGE STUDENTS... but anyway. I finally went out after 4 nights of just staying home and studying. It was amazing! And tomorrow night I'm going out with the same crowd and on Saturday again when Jessi will teach us all how to play Presidents and Assholes, a drinking game. I'm so psyched! That'll get me ready for midterms last week!!!
